September Newsletter – Announcing Our New Journal!

“Writing is a process, a journey into memory and the soul.”
~ Isabel Allende

We are happy to announce that this past August, in response to overwhelming requests from our readers and retreat participants, we published A Journal for Inspiration: Reboot Your Life. With one specially chosen quote from our personal collection on each page, the journal offers a place for readers to both reflect on their journeys and find inspiration along the way.

We created the journal for YOU – to develop the practice we encourage of quietly reflecting and writing for yourself every day. Linked to our first book Reboot Your Life, the journal provides space – literally and figuratively – to write your thoughts and dreams, plans and lists, fears and joys, key events, and excited (or anxious) anticipation. We hope the quotes from men and women across the world and the centuries will get you thinking and/or smiling, or recognize as describing your own feelings, experiences, or hopes. We sorted through (and actually voted on) hundreds we have collected to choose these gems.

If there is any underlying theme, it is that you are capable of doing what you dream to do, especially if you believe it and plan. As Christopher Robin say it to Winnie-the-Pooh:

“Promise me you’ll always remember: You’re braver than you believe, and stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think.”

Hear Mahatma Gandhi:

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever.”

Then hear Steve Jobs:

“Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become.”

And listen to this:

“Mistakes are part of the dues one pays for a full life.”
– Sophia Loren

The journal is a great gift, either for yourself or someone else. Whether the new owner already journals or not, the daily quote will be a moment of delight and discovery. The lined (and undated) pages invite your thoughts and words, as seemingly small or as soaring as you like. And we are excited to continue to use the journal in our Reboot Your Life workshops, as we did in August to positive reviews. (“Listen to this quote that applies to me exactly today. . .”)
